What the First Folio holds
We record only what is true. Here is what stands in the Codex today, and the folios whose ink is not yet dry.
A persistent Aevum
One shared world. What you do persists; it is not reset by an instance wall.
Five peoples, full ladders
Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Orc and Dwarf — each with its callings, a first profession at level twenty and a second at forty, and every skill set down.
The open Codex
Live rankings, the bestiary and its drop tables, the item compendium, every skill tree and every achievement. The Record, made public.
Ten world bosses
A tyrant in every land of Aevum, from Grulk the Trampler in the meadows to Mortessa, the Ashen Queen. Each can be felled, and the land remembers who did it.
The Hollow Vault
A sealed vault apart from the world, reached only through its warden. Mind the dark.
Clans and the castle siege
Found a clan before the Keeper of Charters, swear allies, and set your banner on the siege roll of the castle at the heart of the world.
A Dwarf-forged economy
Dwarven Artisans make nearly all gear in Aevum from materials hunted in the wild, save a few epic weapons from world bosses, a few quest rewards and the bound starter kit. Merchants neither buy nor sell, and an enchantment can break what it touches.
Third professions
The last rung of every ladder. The Codex has left the space; the ink is not yet dry.

When can I play?
The closed playtest is open now. The First Folio is planned to open to everyone in January 2027, and the first season to be bound in March 2027. Wishlist Legacy of Eternity on Steam to hear when the gates open.
How do I join the playtest?
Request access from the Legacy of Eternity store page on Steam. The closed playtest is already under way. It is also worth wishlisting the game while you are there, so you hear the moment the First Folio opens to all.
Which platforms is it on?
Legacy of Eternity is made for PC (Windows) and will be played through Steam. Its Steam store page is already open, so you can wishlist it today.
